The Mobile Phone Turns 40

The Guardian Newspaper has an amusing photo montage of the history of the mobile phone which has just turned 40. Yes it too lived through the era of polyester and terrible music. Although not always entirely “mobile” the early Motorola “shoe phone” (it looked like a shoe) kicked off the craze.
