Best Exchange for Bitcoin Beginners

If you are new to Bitcoin there are many places you can join and starting trading on within a matter of minutes. Many good options in Europe include: Bitcoin.de, Localbitcoins.com, Bitbay and Paymium. All have their distinctive advantages but some are over the counter, this means you have to transact directly with the buyer or seller. Meaning you have to trust them with your cash! While escrow features at these sites help remove some of the problems there is still a high degree of trust involved. This is not helped by the constant suggestion by the ignorant people on TV and in Government who keep saying that Bitcoin is used by terrorists and criminals!

And the winner is…..

Anyway if you want to avoid the headaches mentioned above I recommend going to Paymium. Here you buy and sell within the exchange. Which means you no-longer need to send or receive real money from random strangers. Paymium also has good customer support and requests verifiable ID once you go beyond a certain transaction level. It’s set up process is simple, fast and using the exchange is really easy. It may not have all the features of the other exchanges, including Bitbay but it is simply the easiest way to get started in the world of Bitcoin.
