Cult of Mac Continues – with higher hotel charges

As a long time Mac owner and user, I have to say I quite like them. However, as any regular Mac user knows the cost of Mac compatible software and accessories often seems higher than the same or similar products for PCs. This can in part be put down to the development and marketing costs being spread across fewer potential end users. However, now the BBC reports that a travel company is offering Mac users more expensive hotel rooms when compared to their Windows friends – although they are not charging more for the same hotel rooms. This follows in from the companies own work that indicated Mac users were likely to pay more for hotel rooms….

It seems to me that owning a Mac is now more costly in other ways too… I wonder, as Linux is “free” do we get the rooms for nothing if we book using that platform? 🙂
